Sell on Cdiscount: support, orders, labels and invoices

FRLive

Cdiscount runs on Octopia. Connect your Octopia seller account and discussions with buyers and with Cdiscount’s customer service reach your queue every 5 minutes, with the order next to them. Orders come into the order book, the shipping label is made automatically by your rules and its tracking number sent back, the invoice is issued with the right VAT, and prices are written from your margin rules; cancellations, returns and goodwill refunds run once a person confirms. The same connection brings Fyndiq, CDON, Joom, Rakuten, Alltricks and OnBuy.

Selling on Cdiscount with Miross

Cdiscount’s marketplace runs on Octopia, whose API carries the discussions with buyers and with Cdiscount’s own customer service. Miross reads them every 5 minutes into the same queue as your other marketplaces, with the order next to them, and your replies go back into the discussion: up to 1,500 characters, with up to 3 files. Cdiscount orders come into the order book, the shipping label is made automatically by your rules and its tracking number goes back to the channel. The invoice is issued with the VAT of the right country, by Miross itself or from Holded or Odoo if you keep your books there, and uploaded to the order where the channel accepts it. Prices are written from your margin rules, and a cancellation, a return or a goodwill refund runs once a person confirms. The same Octopia connection brings Fyndiq, CDON, Joom, Rakuten, Alltricks and OnBuy.

What Miross does with Cdiscount

  • Discussions from buyers and from Cdiscount’s customer service arrive in the queue every 5 minutes.
  • Replies go back into the discussion: up to 1,500 characters, with up to 3 files (4 MB in total).
  • The order panel shows the order behind each discussion.
  • Cdiscount orders come into the order book next to Amazon, your other marketplaces and your shop.
  • Shipping labels are made automatically by your rules (country, weight, channel), and the tracking number goes back to the channel, where the order is confirmed as shipped.
  • Invoices: Miross issues the invoice itself, with the VAT of the right country, or takes it from Holded or Odoo if you keep your books there. It is uploaded to the order once a person confirms, where the channel accepts it.
  • Prices from your margin rules, written to Cdiscount once you approve them.
  • A cancellation once a person confirms. Returns and goodwill refunds work the same way.
  • The same Octopia connection also brings Fyndiq, CDON, Joom, Rakuten, Alltricks and OnBuy.

Questions

Which marketplaces does the connection cover?

Every Octopia channel you sell on: Cdiscount, and also Fyndiq, CDON, Joom, Rakuten, Alltricks and OnBuy. Each case shows its channel.

Can Miross handle returns on Cdiscount?

Yes: returns and goodwill refunds run from the case once a person confirms, like cancellations and invoice uploads.

Why wasn’t an invoice uploaded?

Not every channel accepts invoice uploads. Where one refuses, the invoice PDF still goes out attached to your reply.

Can I create shipping labels for my Cdiscount orders?

Yes. Connect your own carrier contracts or a Sendcloud account and write rules by country, weight and channel. When a Cdiscount order is ready, Miross makes the label by itself, and the tracking number and the carrier go back to the channel, where the order is confirmed as shipped.

How are invoices for Cdiscount orders issued?

Miross issues them itself: each invoice carries the VAT of the right country (the destination country’s under the one-stop shop, or your own), a number from your own series and your template. If you keep your books in Holded or Odoo, Miross uses the invoice from there. Either way it is uploaded to the order once a person confirms, where the channel accepts it.

Can Miross set my prices on Cdiscount?

Yes. You write a margin rule, and Miross works out the price from the product’s cost, the shipping, the commission and the VAT. Each change waits for your approval, and the approved price is written to Cdiscount.

Does Cdiscount count as a message channel?

Yes. Every marketplace, mailbox and chat account you connect counts toward your plan’s message channels.
