PrestaShop orders: shipping labels, invoices and support

Live

Connect PrestaShop (1.7, 8 or 9) as a free data connector. Its orders come into the order book, the shipping label is made automatically by your rules and its tracking number sent back to the shop, the invoice is issued with the right VAT, and prices are written from your margin rules. Messages from your contact form and order pages arrive as conversations, answered by email from your shop’s own mailbox, and a return, a new address or a cancellation of an unshipped order is one click a person confirms.

PrestaShop in Miross

Your PrestaShop store is one sales channel among several: the same products also sell on Amazon and on marketplaces, and customers write about all of them. Miross connects PrestaShop 1.7, 8 or 9 as a free data connector, so its orders, products, prices and customer threads sit in the same back office as every other channel.

Each PrestaShop order comes into the order book. Its shipping label is made automatically by your rules, and the tracking number goes back to the shop. Its invoice is issued with the VAT of the right country, and its price is written from your margin rules. Messages from your contact form and order pages arrive as conversations with the order beside them, and a return, a new address or a cancellation is one click a person confirms.

What Miross does with PrestaShop

  • PrestaShop orders come into the order book next to those from Amazon and your marketplaces: to ship, on hold or shipped.
  • Shipping labels are made automatically when an order is ready: your rules pick the carrier and the service by country, weight and channel, and the tracking number goes back to PrestaShop.
  • Invoices: Miross issues the invoice for each order itself, with the VAT of the right country and your own numbering series, or takes it from Holded or Odoo if you keep your books there. It reaches the customer as a PDF from the conversation.
  • Your products come into the Miross catalogue, and prices worked out from your margin rules are written to the shop once you approve them.
  • Customer-service threads from your contact form and order pages arrive as conversations, for PrestaShop 1.7, 8 and 9.
  • Replies are emailed from your shop’s own connected mailbox and copied into the PrestaShop back office.
  • The order panel shows the status, products, totals, carrier and tracking link.
  • The Returns module and your return portal find PrestaShop orders (Growth and up), and the return label comes from your own carrier.
  • One-click skills a person confirms (Growth and up): change the delivery address before the order ships (within the same country and province) and cancel an order before it ships.
  • Refunds are made in your payment provider: PrestaShop’s API can’t refund.

How to connect

  1. In PrestaShop, enable the webservice and create a key with the permissions Miross’s connect form lists.
  2. In Miross, open Settings → Integrations, pick PrestaShop and enter your shop’s address, the key and how much history to import.
  3. Connect the mailbox of your shop’s contact address as a channel: replies are emailed from it.
  4. Connect a carrier and write your shipping rules, and set your tax details once: labels and invoices then follow from each order.

Questions

Why do replies need my shop’s mailbox?

PrestaShop doesn’t email a reply saved through its API. So Miross emails it from your shop’s own mailbox and copies it into the back office, where the customer also sees it in their account.

Can Miross refund a PrestaShop order?

Refunds are made in your payment provider: PrestaShop’s API can’t refund, and cancelling an order doesn’t refund it.

Does the mailbox count as a channel?

Yes: the mailbox that sends the replies counts toward your message channels, like any mailbox. PrestaShop itself stays a free data connector.

Can I create shipping labels for my PrestaShop orders?

Yes. Connect your own carrier contracts or a Sendcloud account and write rules by country, weight and channel. When a PrestaShop order is ready, Miross makes the label by itself, and the tracking number and the carrier go back to the shop, so the customer can follow the parcel.

How are invoices for PrestaShop orders issued?

Miross issues them itself: each invoice carries the VAT of the right country (the destination country’s under the one-stop shop, or your own), a number from your own series and your template. If you keep your books in Holded or Odoo, Miross uses the invoice from there. Either way the PDF reaches the customer from the conversation.

Can Miross set my prices on PrestaShop?

Yes. You write a margin rule, and Miross works out the price from the product’s cost, the shipping and the VAT. Each change waits for your approval, and the approved price is written to your PrestaShop shop.

Does PrestaShop count as a message channel?

No. PrestaShop is a data connector: free on every plan, and it doesn’t count toward your message channels.
