Shopify orders: shipping labels, invoices and support
LiveConnect your Shopify store as a free data connector. Its orders come into the order book, the shipping label is made automatically by your rules and its tracking number sent back to Shopify, the invoice is issued with the right VAT, and prices are written from your margin rules. Email and chat conversations are linked to their Shopify order, and a return, a new address or a cancellation of an order that hasn’t shipped is one click a person confirms.
Shopify in Miross
Your Shopify store is one sales channel among several: the same products also sell on Amazon and on marketplaces, and customers write by email or chat about all of them. Miross connects the store as a free data connector, so its orders, products and prices sit in the same back office as every other channel.
Each Shopify order comes into the order book. Its shipping label is made automatically by your rules, and the tracking number goes back to Shopify. Its invoice is issued with the VAT of the right country, and its price is written from your margin rules. When the customer writes, the email or chat finds its order by itself, and a return, a new address or a cancellation is one click a person confirms.
What Miross does with Shopify
- Shopify orders come into the order book next to those from Amazon and your marketplaces: to ship, on hold or shipped.
- Shipping labels are made automatically when an order is ready: your rules pick the carrier and the service by country, weight and channel, and the tracking number goes back to Shopify.
- Invoices: Miross issues the invoice for each order itself, with the VAT of the right country and your own numbering series, or takes it from Holded or Odoo if you keep your books there. It reaches the customer as a PDF from the conversation.
- Your Shopify products come into the Miross catalogue, and prices worked out from your margin rules are written to the store once you approve them.
- Links email and chat conversations to their Shopify order: by an order number the customer wrote (#1042), or, when there is none, by their email or phone if exactly one customer in your store matches: their latest order from the last 60 days, flagged for you to check.
- Shows the order in the case panel: status, products, total, tracking and a link to it in your Shopify admin. Agents can link an order by hand or unlink a wrong one, and Miross then stops guessing for that conversation.
- The Returns module (Growth and up) looks orders up in Shopify, for your return portal and for agents, and the return label comes from your own carrier.
- Two one-click skills (Growth and up): change the delivery address of an order that hasn’t been fulfilled, and cancel an order that hasn’t shipped: restocked, with the customer notified by Shopify. The agent checks each one and confirms.
- Your access token is stored encrypted and never shown again.
How to connect
- In your Shopify admin, open Settings → Apps → Develop apps and create a custom app with read_orders and read_products, plus write_orders for address changes and cancellations and write_products for prices.
- Install the app and copy its Admin API access token.
- In Miross, open Settings → Integrations, pick Shopify and paste your myshopify.com domain and the token.
- Connect a carrier and write your shipping rules, and set your tax details once: labels and invoices then follow from each order.

Questions
Where do my Shopify customers’ questions come in?
By email, as they do today: connect the mailbox your store uses (Gmail, Outlook or any IMAP mailbox) as a channel, and Miross links each email to its Shopify order.
Why does the app need write_orders?
Only for the two skills that change an order: the address change and the cancellation. Without it, Miross only reads your orders and products. It checks the app’s permissions when you connect or re-check the store, and those two skills appear only when write_orders is granted.
Can Miross refund a Shopify order?
When an order is cancelled, the payment follows your store’s Shopify settings: the reply only promises a refund once Shopify shows the money back, and otherwise Miross tells you to refund it in Shopify.
Can I create shipping labels for my Shopify orders?
Yes. Connect your own carrier contracts or a Sendcloud account and write rules by country, weight and channel. When a Shopify order is ready, Miross makes the label by itself, and the tracking number and the carrier go back to Shopify, so the customer can follow the parcel.
How are invoices for Shopify orders issued?
Miross issues them itself: each invoice carries the VAT of the right country (the destination country’s under the one-stop shop, or your own), a number from your own series and your template. If you keep your books in Holded or Odoo, Miross uses the invoice from there. Either way the PDF reaches the customer from the conversation.
Can Miross set my prices on Shopify?
Yes. You write a margin rule, and Miross works out the price from the product’s cost, the shipping and the VAT. Each change waits for your approval, and the approved price is written to your Shopify store.
Does Shopify count as a message channel?
No. Shopify is a data connector: free on every plan, and it doesn’t count toward your message channels.
