Sell on eBay: support, orders, labels and invoices

Live

Buyer messages from eBay Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK arrive within about five minutes and are answered from your queue, with the order linked. eBay orders come into the order book, the shipping label is made automatically by your rules and its tracking number sent back, the invoice is issued with the right VAT, and prices are written from your margin rules. Cancelling an unshipped order or refunding it is one click a person confirms. You sign in with eBay: no keys to copy.

Selling on eBay with Miross

eBay buyers write through eBay’s own messages, and eBay’s rules keep email addresses, phone numbers and outside links out of them. Miross brings buyer messages from eBay Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK into your queue within about five minutes, links the order when the buyer bought the item they write about, and blocks what eBay doesn’t allow before you send: replies take up to 2,000 characters and up to 5 photos or documents. eBay orders come into the order book, the shipping label is made automatically by your rules and its tracking number goes back to eBay. The invoice is issued with the VAT of the right country, by Miross itself or from Holded or Odoo if you keep your books there, and goes to the buyer with your reply. Prices are written from your margin rules. A person can cancel an unshipped order (the whole order, within 30 days); refunds work the same way. eBay’s API doesn’t allow address changes or invoice uploads to the order, and returns and disputes arrive as conversations only. You connect by signing in with eBay: no keys to copy.

What Miross does with eBay

  • Buyer messages from eBay Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the UK arrive in the queue within about five minutes.
  • The order is linked when the buyer bought the item they write about.
  • Replies go back through eBay: up to 2,000 characters with up to 5 photos or documents. Following eBay’s rules, the reply box blocks email addresses, phone numbers and links outside eBay.
  • eBay orders come into the order book next to Amazon, your other marketplaces and your shop.
  • Shipping labels are made automatically by your rules (country, weight, channel), and the tracking number goes back to eBay, where the order is confirmed as shipped.
  • Invoices: Miross issues the invoice itself, with the VAT of the right country, or takes it from Holded or Odoo if you keep your books there, and it goes to the buyer as a document with your reply.
  • A price per eBay site from your margin rules, written to eBay once you approve it.
  • Cancel an order that hasn’t shipped (the whole order, within 30 days) once a person confirms. Refunds work the same way.
  • No address change or invoice upload to the order: eBay’s API doesn’t allow them.
  • Returns and disputes arrive as conversations only.

How to connect

  1. In Miross, open Settings → Integrations and pick eBay.
  2. Sign in with eBay on eBay’s own page and allow Miross access: there are no keys to copy.
  3. Choose how much history to import; buyer messages then arrive within about five minutes, and orders come into the order book.
  4. Connect a carrier and write your shipping rules, and set your tax details once: labels and invoices then follow from each order.

eBay

Questions

Do I need API keys?

No. You sign in on eBay’s own page and allow Miross access; your eBay password never reaches Miross.

Why can’t I change an address or upload an invoice?

eBay’s API doesn’t allow either, so Miross doesn’t offer them on eBay orders. The invoice itself is still issued, and it reaches the buyer as a document with your reply.

What happens with returns and disputes?

They arrive as conversations only: you can answer the buyer from Miross, and handle the return or dispute itself on eBay.

Can I create shipping labels for my eBay orders?

Yes. Connect your own carrier contracts or a Sendcloud account and write rules by country, weight and channel. When an eBay order is ready, Miross makes the label by itself, and the tracking number and the carrier go back to eBay, where the order is confirmed as shipped.

How are invoices for eBay orders issued?

Miross issues them itself: each invoice carries the VAT of the right country (the destination country’s under the one-stop shop, or your own), a number from your own series and your template. If you keep your books in Holded or Odoo, Miross uses the invoice from there. Either way the PDF goes to the buyer with your reply.

Can Miross set my prices on eBay?

Yes. You write a margin rule, and Miross works out the price for each eBay site from the product’s cost, the shipping, the commission and the VAT. Each change waits for your approval, and the approved price is written to eBay.

Does eBay count as a message channel?

Yes. Every marketplace, mailbox and chat account you connect counts toward your plan’s message channels.
